All / Bathroom / Face moisturizer
A humectant (glycerin), an occlusive (petrolatum or dimethicone), and skin-barrier lipids (ceramides, cholesterol).
Fragrance-free.
Price doesn't predict results. A drugstore cream with these ingredients matches luxury creams.

- The full ingredient list is long (about 25 items) because of the ceramide delivery system and preservatives.
What we ruled out
Perfumed creams and 'anti-ageing' creams sold on a hero extract. Fragrance adds irritation risk. Most hero extracts have no good evidence at the levels used.
Luxury creams (e.g. La Mer). No evidence they moisturize better than a fragrance-free drugstore cream with the same core ingredients, at 50 to 100 times the price.
Also good
Vanicream Moisturizing Cream. Fragrance-free and simpler, without ceramides. A good choice if CeraVe stings.
